You guys. I have always been obsessed with Disney's The Lion King. When I was young I could quote every line (and still do!). When I had children, it was the very first Disney DVD I bought. Despite the fact that Genevieve could barely sit through a 20-minute kid show, let alone an entire movie, still, I tried. My excitement the first time I saw the preview for Disney's The Lion King coming to theaters July 19th was off the charts. Literal butterflies! There's something about passing on an experience you were passionate about as a child to your own kids that feels so precious. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to tell you guys about The Lion King events at Walmart and adorable The Lion King products there. I mentioned this AH-Mazing kitchen in my "5 Ways to Buy Fewer Toys this Christmas" post. I heart it. Like so much! I do not however have that kind of money to spend on a toy kitchen! (My kids are getting this one). But when I came across the look for less version, I had to pop in real quick and share it! We're talking less than half the price!

Longest blog title ever? I think yes.  Today I'm sharing one small space toy storage solution that's worked for us, how I made the labels, and since I never shared a picture of the girls shared room, I'm throwing that in too! I've discussed trying to create toy storage for a small space before. When I moved Nadia into Genevieve's room I got rid of a lot of stuff but obviously couldn't get rid of everything. I knew I needed to find something other than a typical toy box in which everything gets thrown and forgotten about. And while I love the popular toy storage ideas all over Pinterest, they don't always work in a 10x12 room that includes 2 beds, a bookshelf, and a dresser. 

I am a little obsessed with felt.  It's pretty. It's cheap.  Need I say more?  First I made a  felt bow.  It was harder than it seemed and I certainly didn't want to take the time to blog it. But until the clip on it stopped being springy, both Nadia and Genevieve did wear it often! See evidence below:
 

This post was inspired by my absolute love of the Land of Nod (Remember, I got Nadia's party activities from there?).  And my absolute reality of a budget. One that does not include $44 blocks.  Even on Christmas.  I love "look for less" posts!  And I love writing them; finding similar items in lower price brackets is such a fun challenge.  And pretty much my reality. (And all of our realities at some point right?).  Now of course I love the "look for less" features where one item is $5 and the other is $5000 and they look exactly the same.  I'm going to apologize in advance that this is not one of those posts.  BUT it's super realistic and all the price differences (from $7 to $30) add up--especially at Christmas time.  Not to mention that if you're looking for kids' gift ideas, I think you'll love some of these!





Now in some cases the differences are more obvious.  And they might be worth the extra $15.  But in others, the differences are minute...and while you might notice them, I'm guessing your two year old won't.
