Who remembers my kids' DIY desk and homework nook? Yeah we kind of forgot about it too. ha. We'd let it get pre-tty messy and the chairs, though I loved them, never fit under the desk. Over time, the arms got damaged plus they stuck out a bit far into the walkway. It only took me 4 years to come across a pair of dining chairs I loved, that fit the look, and the budget! Here are our new chairs plus others from Walmart. I'm also sharing some you-won't-believe-the-price decor finds I have and love and I put together a design board for dining room inspiration- all from Walmart! Let's Go!
I mean seriously, how GOOD are all of these chairs?! Can you even believe that a) they're from Walmart and b) they start at just $60 per chair? We've had the rope back pair for a couple of weeks now and no regrets! The seat is a tad firm but comfortable enough that I've been working from the nook all week. The Scandinavian feel and slight arch of the back (which adds to the comfort) makes them feel special and belies the price. I ordered the black chair last year. They didn't work for the nook but they are beautiful and the definition of designer style at an affordable price. Keep scrolling to see those upholstered chairs styled.

So much to love- the thick round frame, the curved top of the front legs, the slight arch of the back, and that beautifully neutral rope back. I can't believe this chair is $69! And did you spot that pretty pleated lamp?
