Gosh I love Valentine's Day! And since Genevieve has declared she loves it almost as much as Christmas, I'm always motivated to make it special. This year I plan to invite some girlfriends and their kiddos over for a fun Valentine's Day date. Goodies for the kids are a must but I want to treat the mamas too. Here are my must haves that both mamas and kiddos will enjoy.

It's finally time to get rid of the builder's pendant hanging over my dining room table. I can't express to you how much I want to see it gone. I know. dramatic. I started looking and, wait for it, couldn't find anything I liked in my price range. I don't know why it surprised me since that's often the price I pay for having good taste but no money. HA. I finally found a few I liked for less than $270 (with my two faves ringing in at under $160!) so I had to share.

Christmas is over! I'm sad but my excitement in sharing Genevieve's Care Bears party is taking the edge off. ;) I have to say, this one was definitely a favorite. Maybe it's because I loved Care Bears as a kid and now the girls enjoy it 30 20 years later 😉. Or it might be the larger than life Cheer Bear on the snack table. ha! Either way, this was a fun one with lots of simple and budget friendly ideas for anyone looking to throw a similar Care Bears party!
