As for the title, just wanted to call it like it is...I love garage sales, consignment galleries, thrift stores, 2nd hand shops, antique malls, etc. (as mentioned here). Unfortunately for me, the options in the Manchester area are limited but I happened to stop by Sharon Ann's Consignment Gallery in Hooksett yesterday and absolutely fell in love with this beauty:
Upon first glance it may not look like much...but if you look closer you'll see that it's miniature! Not as in doll house but as in perfect-for-32 inch-Genevieve size. It's the most adorable thing. ever. I want it. I need it. I have to have it. BUT there's this stupid budget thing that both Joe and Dave Ramsey keep ramming down my throat so I can't have it right now. But as God is my witness I plan to stalk that consignment store until I can work $99 into the budget OR until it's marked down ($99 is a bit steep if you ask me!). Whichever comes first. Hopefully my patience will pay off like it did this time...because this cute little desk is just dying to be painted pink or bright red or stark white or sunny yellow and screaming for some anthropolgie-esqe knobs. And I am so the one to give it what it wants.

So remember my swimsuit dilemma I posted about here. And the AH-mazing swimsuit my bff scored for $40 at TJ Maxx that evoked a deep sense of envy?! Well (drum roll please), my patience and persistence paid off just like mama said it would. Guess who scored this beauty for less than $50 on a little thing I like to call eBay?!
Just had to share my oh-so-happy and delicious news.
Now I just have to book that vacation...
