A Floral Themed Sprinkle for Baby Violet - Pretty Real

A Floral Themed Sprinkle for Baby Violet

9:00 AM

My dear friend was having a girl after THREE boys.  With a 4th baby and a different gender a sprinkle was a must, so a few friends and I put one on. She loves purple and named her sweetheart Violet, so a floral theme just seemed appropriate.  We added lavender, mint, and kraft, did a few DIYs, and called it a sprinkle.  Enjoy!

We hosted the sprinkle at 11:30, so we served brunch- quiche, french toast casserole, fruit, cupcakes, and punch.

I shared tips on painting mason jars in this "How to Paint Mason Jars..." post.

My co-planner and friend Beth created these favors with mini flower pots and seeds. She added tulle and a personalized label. I love how they came out- so charming.

I collect milk glass vases and they came in handy for this shower.  You can find other sources listed below.

I cannot get enough of these scalloped poms.  I wish I'd taken process photos but it's pretty simple. I used paper lanterns, a 2 inch circle punch and 6-10 pieces of card stock (depending on size of lantern and size of card stock).  I then glued them on with hot glue. A bit time consuming but totally a DIY you can do while watching TV so the time goes by quickly.  Plus, look how pretty they are!

Pretty and yummy cupcakes made by my sister-in-law who made the Minnie cake for Genevieve's 3rd birthday. (and many others I've shared).

And one more shot of the napkins because they couldn't have been more perfect (great find Jill!).
