DIY Chalk Spice Jars
10:19 PM
Sharing a fun and simple DIY today. My spice cabinet was out of control so I decided to make some jars to keep in the drawer next to the stove. If you want to make some, here's what you need!
Supplies
(affiliate links included)
baby food jars
primer (optional, but I'd recommend it.)
awesome chalk pencils. I also use these on my command center chalk calendar and love them!
goo gone (maybe).
1. Take the labels off of your baby food jars.
2. Run them through the dishwasher.
3. Clean with goo gone if necessary. About half my jars were fine, the other half had a sticky residue leftover.
4. Spray paint tops. Use primer first. I forgot to prime. Oops.
5. Fill with spices.
Voila! Such a simple and cheap project! Now what else can I use baby food jars for?!
