Holiday Around Our Home - Pretty Real

Holiday Around Our Home

8:00 AM

I don't generally go all out for seasonal decorating but I enjoy focusing on a few areas that bring me joy. For instance, our cozy living room was begging for some decor and who am I to tell it no? Plus last year felt like a practice run on our office nook shelves and this year, I felt more ready. Let me at 'em! You might remember this instagram where I debated buying tons of Christmas decor or staying married (it was a joke!) and while I didn't buy all new stuff (yay! I'm still  married), I did add a few festive items to the loft shelves. Without further ado, here's some of our holiday home.

Check out the reel I shared about this set up! The printable can be purchased here.

Our entry is on the list for 2022 because it's just a mess so it didn't get any love. ha. But when you walk through the entry, you pass the office nook on your right:

Wood Trees (purchase individually for sale price!)

After watching these stacked wood trees for  3 years, I finally snagged them on sale! They're still on sale and available! These aren't as big but are just as pretty and half the price! I'm not good at collections because I'm too drawn to trends ("know thyself." ha.) but tiny white houses stand the test of time! Last year I used too many small items on these shelves. Tiffany's Tips: A shelfie falls flat when it's full of tiny things! This year I was intentional about using some larger scale items.

The manger scene was a $6 Homecentric find. I intended to spray paint it but never got around to it. But it works. I love sand + fog candles- so fragrant and well priced when you find them at TJ Maxx! There's still one "winter" scent left!

I thought I'd go crazy on the shelves but it only needed a few simple additions. It's also where I put "my" tree.
