I’ve
partnered with Dove to tell you all about their New Dove Dry Oil Collection
featuring their Dove Dry Oil Beauty Bar and Dove Dry Oil Moisture Body Wash. With the
warm weather lately, I was starting to panic. These pale dry legs aren't ready to see temps above 70. Then I got the
opportunity to try the New Dove Dry Oil Collection. I have really dry skin that’s
especially bad during the winter months. After a shower, my skin is visibly dry
and in my rush to get to bed I don’t always take the necessary steps to hydrate.
With 1 in 3 women suffering from dry skin, it seems I’m not alone. But the Dove
Dry Oil collection helps nourish and protect skin from dryness while still in the shower. Um, genius. It features a nourishing formula
infused with Moroccan Argan oil beads so that while cleaning your skin, it’s
also helping to replenish its nutrients. We can fake it during the winter (and
I’m from New Hampshire where winter is like 8 months out of the year) but once
summer hits, if we’ve neglected our skin, it shows. Today I’m sharing 3 easy beauty tips to get
summer-ready skin and trick everyone into thinking you’ve been nourishing your
skin all winter long.
3 Easy Tips to Get Summer-Ready Skin
Tip #1: Try the New
Dove Dry Oil Collection and see how it gently cleanses and cares for your skin while helping you shower away the dry skin. This collection is made with the Dove signature mild formula with 1/4 moisturizing cream (plus the Moroccan Argan Oil I mentioned earlier) for soft, smooth, radiant skin. This isn’t a review but I feel compelled to
tell you my skin felt softer after using the product. We all want softer smoother
skin and 98% of women feel more confident when their skin is moisturized rather
than dry.
Tip #2: To
create a dewy complexion, use moisturizer or petroleum jelly on your forehead, nose, and
cheeks after you apply your foundation. You'll have that summer dewy glow without the sweat. Bright pink lips, optional. ;)
Tip #3: To get a
pretty glow, mix your blush with bronzer. Rather than just put it on your
cheeks, apply it to where the sun naturally kisses-- your forehead, chin, and
the bridge of your nose.

Beautiful pictures and I'm right there with you on dry skin. I haven't tried this specific products before, but I think I'll give it a try.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I hope it works for you! I really like it! Thanks for your comment!
DeleteI like this list! I'm not bold enough to do bronzer, but I do blush sometimes and I definitely need to do something about my dry legs!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ruby! I'm a slacker when it comes to moisturizer so having a body wash that helps has been helpful!
DeleteThanks for this viewpoint. We have to be careful about what products we use, particularly since our daughter has eczema which breaks out easily.
ReplyDeletemy girls have eczema too! I've actually heard Dove works well with that but haven't tried it on my girls. I'm assuming its intended for adults/teens. thanks for reading!
