I Love Him Because.

It seems like just yesterday I wrote this post on our anniversary. And here we are a year later. How does that happen so quickly?! Here's my heart today:

I love him because he loves me.

I love him because he makes me laugh. Sometimes on purpose.

I love him because he takes care of himself. Challenges me. Cares enough to drink green drink instead of beer. Ok, in addition to beer.

I love him because he's strong. Compassionate. Caring. Warm.

I love him because he's a provider. A dreamer. A go-getter.

I love him because he errs on the side of generosity.

I love him because he doesn't "babysit" his kids. He parents them.

I love him because he pranced around the dinner table last night playing "My little Pony" with our babies.

I love him because he's a godly man. A man after God's own heart.

I love him because he mocks Nadia when he hands me something: "Hea go momm-EE"

I love him because he says I'm sorry.

I love him because he was there for my mom when I couldn't be.

I love him because he's so likable.

I love him because he does the right thing.

I love him because he's easy on the eyes. I mean, seriously. He's getting hotter when he's supposed to be getting fat.

I love him because he's a Spartan. A Warrior. A Tough Mudder.

I love him because he's the yang to my yin. The cream to my coffee. Quite literally.

And if all of that isn't enough:

I love him because I promised I would.

So blessed by this man.

This has blessed me to tears. I’ve read and reread it; I respect him and I love him. I love him because I know without a shadow of doubt he's got your back; always, no matter what. I love him because I never have to worry about you and the girls and I love him because he truly is very likable!

I praise God that he not only found you together. He found you together with Jesus at the center of your love. You guys bless my heart. I love you both, Mom
