GIVEAWAY CLOSED.

It pays to do the extra entries! Thanks Mary!
Going to a NYE Party?  Now that you have the perfect outfit [oh just plugging my Tall Snob work],  it's time to find the perfect hostess gift.  If I'm being honest I don't always bring hostess gifts but I think it's just so classy to be the person who shows up with one.  A bottle of wine is nice but how about something sweeter?

Chocolate + Coffee + Cute Mugs (if you're really feeling generous)?  Can't go wrong.

I was recently introduced to Merci chocolates.  And I'm not lying when I tell you they are delicious.  Each box of Merci includes a delicious selection of rich European chocolates made from the finest ingredients.  Flavors range from Milk Chocolate and Hazlenut-Almond to Dark Cream and Praline-Creme.  Now that they've entered my life they're not going anywhere.  Indulgent? Check. Flavorful? Check.  Buttery smooth? Check.

Have you attended a party where the hostess was just so impressive-- as in:

-her home felt welcoming and festive
-she was relaxed and had a good time at her own party--is it just me or does it put everyone else at ease when the hostess is having a great time?!
-the food was delicious and plentiful
-most importantly you left feeling uplifted- perhaps with a happy sigh?

It's not to late to thank her with a box of Merci.  Merci's tagline "Thank you for being you" is just so sweet and perfect to thank someone for going out of her way to make sure you enjoyed yourself this holiday season.

Giveaway Time!

Now comes the fun part! You can win a box of delicious Merci, fresh roasted coffee, and 2 coffee mugs by commenting below! Just answer one of these questions:

-What makes the perfect hostess?
-If you bring a hostess gift, what do you typically bring?

For extra entries, like me on Facebook, follow me on twitter, follow me on instagram, and/or follow me on Pinterest, and leave a separate comment for each letting me know that you have.

I will choose a winner via random.org on Monday, January 6th at 11 pm EST.

  1. The perfect hostess is one who is warm and inviting, and being in their home reminds me of being home.that sounds weird. But it just feels cozy and inviting! And I have never actually brought a hostess gift to a party before lol. Unless it was a house warming party ;)

  6. To me the perfect hostess is one who anticipates your needs. I always make sure I have a basket for guests that include extra personal care items and such so they don't have to keep asking if they forgot something. I think its making the other person feel comfortable and welcome.

  19. one of my friends is such an amazing hostess-I can't wait for her get-togethers! She just makes it look so easy but I know that she has spent days preparing delicious food that I would never make myself and is just so generous and thoughtful. I almost always bring a bottle of wine at least, or an appetizer or dessert. Flowers are great too. It's gotten to the point now that I even bring something to play dates like muffins or something for the kids to share! (not always-but I will try and remember to the next time I come to see one of my favorite friends with 2 gorgeous girls :) )
