Genevieve's Apple Themed Birthday Party plus a Handy Shopping Guide
4:21 PM
With fall just around the corner, I thought I'd share Genevieve's Apple themed 4th birthday party. I can't believe she chose "fall," over "Frozen" as a theme. I promise-- it was all her! Well I added the emphasis on apples, but still. It's such a fun theme for a fall birthday. I kept this party somewhat simple since it feels like back to back parties when I host Nadia's party in September and then another in November. Plus I had a 3 month old. Nevertheless I was pleased with how it turned out.
I'm in love with paper rosettes! They are so easy and inexpensive. I've used them in many parties-most recently my "Welcome to the World" baby shower.
I pretty much focused on one cute table rather than stations like I often create.
One of my favorite parts was the apple nacho bar.

These individual apple crisps were the most time consuming part of party prep. Since then I've purchased this awesome and cheap apple peeler/corer and I WISH I'd had it then. They looked so darn cute though and were delicious.
The infamous bale of hay that's shown up at Genevieve's Charlotte's Web party and her My Little Pumpkin Party. That thing was well worth the $8 I paid for it!
The day of the party was beautiful, but since it's usually freezing at that time of year, I had warm drinks ready for family to enjoy.
Thank you Target Dollar Spot for these perfect felt bags. It made for a cute and easy party favor.
What better activity at than bobbing for apples?! The buckets weren't quite deep enough to make it a challenge but the kids still had a great time and it was so funny and cute to watch.
I can't believe her 6th birthday is just around the corner!
Looking back, I loved this party! It reminds me quite a bit of her "My Little Pumpkin" party which you can see here.
