Look For Less {The Anatomy of The Hunt}.

When planning Genevieve's gallery wall I knew I wanted to use an elephant hook. I can't even remember where I first saw the cute little object; I just know I loved it. It didn't take long to find it at anthropologie. And to mourn over its price tag. And to justify paying said price. And to google "anthropologie free shipping coupon code," because no way am I going to pay shipping on this already overpriced object." But, when I couldn't find a coupon I began to question my earlier justification. I searched "elephant hook" just in case and then this happened:
Church bells again. $5.99! What?! And I am SO impatient that I almost bought it then and there (plus $6 shipping) even though there is a hobby lobby 8 minutes away. Silly Tiffany. Thankfully I had the sense to step. away. from. the. computer. I went to Hobby Lobby a few days later and boughtone two. My patience paid off; they were on sale for 50% off! So rather than paying $20 + s&h for one, I paid $5.99 for TWO. That's my kind of deal. (And as a side note- this lucky look for less reminds me of this one).
So you may be thinking, but that's iron...and doesn't look very Genevieve friendly. If you are thinking that, you must not frequent this blog often (but I thought we were friends?) because if you did, you'd know about my torrid love affair with spray paint. Okay, maybe not torrid. But it definitely qualifies as true love. And if I had been a little hesitant, I then saw this:
I love this reviewer and want to be her friend. I considered hacking into Hobby Lobby's website to find her information so that we could begin our friendship...but I figured that would be wrong (and who am I kidding; I can't even sync my iPhone email with my 'real' e-mail. Don't get me started). Anyway, that led to this:
Wow! My best friend the reviewer wasn't lying! It was tempting to skip the work and just order one of these...but I got way too good of a deal to turn back now.

Cue hallelujah church bells. And try not to get distracted by the animal cruelty. Poor elephants! Anyway, trying not to get my hopes up, I clicked the link. And then this happened:

What do you think A true look for less (even though it requires some elbow grease)? Or is the anthro version way cooler?
