I love a good family gift- sometimes distance makes it hard to shop for individual family members but a good gift everyone can enjoy is a fun way to still get into the gift giving spirit but make it easier (and sometimes lower costs). Big Blanket Co Original Blanket in Stretch Forest. $179. My sister gifted us one of these 10' x 10' blankets and it is so fun to be able to all cuddle under a massive throw. It's also incredibly soft (they say it's the yoga pants of blankets) and has a good weight to it. Highly recommend!
Mini Projector with wifi and Bluetooth. $109 (there's a $20 off coupon at the time of this writing!). We love our outdoor movies and our projector (linked last year) but I love that this one is more portable. Let the family outdoor movie nights begin!
Questions for Humans: Parents and Kids Conversation Cards. $13. Ditch the phone at the table and in the car, and talk to humans instead! We love a good conversation starter- they always lead to memory sharing, funny anecdotes and genuine connection! This would also make a great stocking stuffer!
Escape Room Gift Card (this printable is $3.58). This was on our list. Escape rooms are so fun but surprisingly (to me, anyway) expensive. I love the thought of gifting a fun experience vs. more stuff to manage. You'll need to find an escape room in your area but this cute printable might make a better presentation that the establishment.
Deep Roots Family Devotional. $12.34. I love gifting a something to read and something that encourages spiritual growth? Even better! This family devotional has amazing reviews. We don't have it but it's on the list!

This year my to-do list got a liiiittle bit away from me! I still needed teacher gifts the week they were due. Have no fear, Walmart is here. Not only do they have tons of options for last minute gifting, but I was able to add a few items to my grocery order- the hack of the season- and get it the next day! Holla! Between that and pick up in as little as 1 hour, it's saving the day for busy mamas everywhere. With 3 kiddos and multiple teachers, I love to save money where I can. The gifts I found are pretty and festive while starting at just $5! Here are ideas for easy and quick teacher gifts plus ways to elevate them (though they stand alone as well!) and these gifts work just as well for neighbors or community helpers! If you see something you like, act fast- it's your last chance to save on top gifts!

Gaming Chair (or this more affordable one in the best shade of blue $196!) $374. I kind of love both of these! I can't wait to redo our playroom!
Echo Dot. $39.99 Apparently this thing does everything! I got one for Dax. Shhh. Don't tell.
Grid Blanket $72.99. A bigger version of the one on the little guy gift guide- we have this and love it- it's so cozy. It comes in 8 fun colors!
Charging Station $23. It charges a watch, pencil, phone, and air pods in one little organized contraption! It's basically magic.
FIFA 23 $47.95. I don't often recommend games for gaming systems we don't have, but when I do, it's this one.
Folding Small Foosball Table $73. Another thing I want for our playroom redo-it's small but I love that it folds and is bigger than a table top version. Perfect for a bedroom or other small space.
Ok full disclosure: some of these are my picks. ;) This gift guide is approachable, fun, and your not-so-little kid will love it! Here's the 2022 Gift Guide for Boys, around ages 7-10 (But girls would love it too!).

3. Retro handheld game. $18.99 My nephew had this and Dax loved it. I love that it's an old school style of game. So refreshing!

5. Echo Dot 5th generation. $39.99 Friend after friend has recommended this so I finally pulled the trigger! I'm most excited about setting routines. I think he's going to love it.
6. Ninjago Lego Set. $37.00 Dax spent an hour on Amazon choosing his favorite LEGO sets and this one made the cut!
7. Glow in the dark basketball. $39.99 How fun is this? There's currently coupon plus a promo if you buy two- There's also a soccer ball, football, and more! So fun!
8. Shower speaker. $29.99 Another recommendation from a friend and I think all of my kids will love this! Some days we need extra motivation to shower. ;)
9. Big Nate Epic hardcover Book. $28.49 Genevieve got this last year and Dax and Nadia read it too- it's huge and so fun! They love Big Nate but breeze through them (they're comic books if you're not familiar) so I love that this takes longer. This is another good option for someone just getting into the series!

This one is easy because I have 2 kiddos in this category and the oldest always has a running wish list. ;) Plus don't tell, but preteen girls are like the MOST fun to shop for! My kids sometimes read Pretty Real (how sweet is that?!) so I can't say what's on its way 😉but I can say we love all of this and have some of it!

At first, I hit a brick wall while curating this gift guide. You might be surprised to learn I don't buy a lot of stuff. ha. But then it hit me that my sample (instagram influencers) is probably skewed, and you likely don't buy a lot of stuff either. As soon as I stopped overthinking it, the ideas started flowing. Here are the gifts I curated. Per usual, I either have it, want it, or am gifting it myself! I'll make notes below and there's a "shop the post" widget at the end. Merry Christmas, friends!
Checkered Tote Shoulder or Waist Pack $48. For when her lululemon belt bag doesn't cut it. This one comes in gray and cream as well and incidentally is on its way to me. It's a nice size and on trend. She'll love being hands free without sacrificing style.
Basketweave Leather Gloves $32. Fine, I bought these too. They're really pretty in real life! In my experience, one can never have too many pairs of gloves. And bonus- they come in S/M and L/XL- one size does not in fact fit all.
Striped Leather Carry-On $199 (from $229). I need luggage in the worst way and IMO it's way more fun to receive as a gift than to buy it yourself- especially when it looks this good! You might want to add a protector too.
Owen Checkerboard Polarized Sunglasses $50. Clearly checkerboards are trending and why wouldn't they be? They're equal parts chic and whimsy. I love the color of these!
Black and Diamond Baguette Ring Price Varies. I've been craving dainty jewelry lately (who am I?!) and this fits the bill. Although it's precious, it's understated enough to wear everyday.
Leather Crossbody Bag $70.80 (currently 40% off!). Can't go wrong with high quality leather. It comes in 6 colors- something for everyone!
Marble Cookbook holder $47.60 (currently 30% off!). I thought of this because, well, I need one. This is beautiful and could literally be passed on. If the home chef you're buying for is more of a Pinterest recipes type, check out this marble tablet stand ($32).
AD coffee table book $60. For the design aficionado or the one with the perfect home- This is a great price (currently selling for $85 on Amazon!) for a classic design book.
Gold Filled Column Hoops $42 (from $60). Delicate but not too delicate. Perfect effortless-but-still-put-together earrings.
The infamous Gucci Fur Lined Loafer Lookalikes $52.89 For the maven in your life- these are HIGHLY rated. But hurry- they take some time to arrive! PS- who was in stories when I tried on the real thing? They were heaven.
A Stanley Tumbler $40. Need I say more? Apparently there's nothing like it and we all need one. Comes in a variety of colors and it's on my list.
Bomba Slippers $45. These have a cult following and I'm dying to try them. I love their colorful weave. And for every pair purchased, one is donated.
Gingham PJs $50. For the cutie comfort lover in your life. It's taking every ounce of self control to give Joe a chance to buy these before I snag them for myself. ha. They're so pretty and they come in a handful of colors.
Iron Frame $49.50. For your photography or art-loving friend- we have one similar to this on on our gallery wall and it's the one frame people ask about! For bonus points, add a photo of you and the recipient to the frame and watch her heart melt.
Jen Atkins' Core Four $59. I started using this 6-8 months ago and absolutely love it. It's simple and effective! It's the perfect gift for someone who doesn't know where to start with skincare.

The Always Pan. Would I even be a blogger if I didn't tout the Always pan? I don't have one (yet) but need it! Perfect for the mama who's always whipping up something delicious. It comes in so many gorgeous colors, including ivory if neutral is her thing.
Stadium Seat Cushion. Totally random and not pretty enough for a collage but I also grabbed this for my mom. She's so supportive and comes to all the kids events but those bleachers are not made for backs over 30 years old (I need one too!).

Ok, I got my act together by my self imposed deadline to share a gift guide for him. Similar to the other gift guides, these are items Joe loves or wants! Here we go!
1. Reef Phantom Flip Flops. $35. Last summer Joe decided he's too old for super flat Old Navy flip flops. He went on a hunt for the perfect pair and decided these were it.
2. North Face Packable Thermo VestNorth Face Packable Thermo Vest. $149. This one is on Joe's wish list. As much as I love puffers and keep trying to force them on him, he just runs too hot. This slim vest looks good and will keep him warm but not too warm.
3. Psalms 13 Thin Stump. $69. This is one of Joe's favorite scriptures and as much as I'm over rustic art, this piece feels more classic and is just beautifully designed.
4.Occulus Virtual Reality Headset. $299. It's just fun- everyone I know who has one loves it. I kind of want one too.
5. Beat That. $24.99. If he has an athletic bent and a competitive streak, he'll love this game. It's full of fun challenges and perfect for a crowd.
6. Blendtec. $329. Guys- it's steep for a blender. BUT we've had ours for 6 years and it's still going strong. Joe makes green drink weekly and this makes it a breeze.
7. Stitch Fix. Price Varies. I got Joe a gift card for his birthday and he ended up with some of his favorite jeans and the best fitting thermal he's had in awhile (a great puffer went back because see #2). You can buy a gift card or a fix or shop their 'freestyle' section for on trend curated pieces.
8. Yeti Hopper Portable Cooler. $419. This is one of those aspirational items because I'm not sure I can spend $400 on a cooler. The good news is that other colors are around $199. But also breaking news- I just found this one which people swear is just as good!
9. Mr. Burberry. $49.99. Neither of us is big on scents but I've been craving one for both of us. Described as sensual, energetic, and sophisticated and I'm all SOLD.
10. Dunder Mifflin T-shirt. $12.99. We got this for Joe for his birthday and he loved it. He's usually a large but ordered an XL in this.
11. Ray Ban Original Wayfarer. $135. Another recent gift for Joe and he loves them. Worth every penny!
12. and 13. 100 Deadly Skills $15.29 and 100 Deadly Skills: Combat Edition $12.69. If this doesn't give you a peek into my husband's psyche, I don't know what does. He learned about these books from The Danger Close podcast (Side Note: Recommending this podcast is a "free" gift you can give the man in your life if he's into behind the scenes stories of special operations- Joe can't get enough!) and immediately added them to his Christmas list.

This was so much fun to put together! As with the other guides, many of these items we have or I've ordered. I'll detail that below!
1. Dude Perfect Book $17.95. This was the very first gift I bought this year! All of my kiddos love the show and Dax's party this year was Dude Perfect themed. As I was listing it, Dax walked by and asked for it. It's in my closet buddy, don't worry. ;)
2. Night Light Projector $18.99. This was a gift from my mom and Dax loves it! It's especially fun for sleepovers!
3. Laser Tag $199. I love that it's digital, has rechargeable batteries, and perfect for family fun. The kids got into laser tag at a local arcade and I think Dax (and all of us!) will love this!
4. Paper Airplane kit $14.95.What little guy doesn't love making paper airplanes? Any non-messy crafty item that keeps eyeballs off of screens is a win in my book!
5. Air Fort $49.95. If you don't have one yet, it's a MUST HAVE! The kids love ours and we love how incredibly simple it is to set up (vs. most other forts) and how neatly it stows away-- in a little fabric case. But do yourself a favor and pick up a box fan now if you don't have one! You'll thank me on Christmas morning!
6. Ninja Warrior Obstacle Course $139.99. You have no idea how tempted I am to burn our swing set and just use this. ha! My kids love Ninja Warrior and this would make a fantastic "big" gift!
7. Wall Mounted Ball Storage $9.99. Currently Dax's room boasts jerseys hanging on his cute, formerly perfectly styled bookshelf topped with balls and trophies. haha. I'm 100% for finding aesthetic ways to display their most loved items!
8. Walkie Talkies $35.99. I picked up several $5 walkies a couple of years ago but one was dropped in the toilet (don't ask). I'm replacing this year with this well reviewed version since they loved the last set so much!
9. Remote Control Stunt Car $37.99. The only thing Dax gave me when I asked for his input (and Lego!) so it's in the cart. I like that it lights up and per the reviews is fast!
10. Blank Comic Book $6.99. I may wait one more year to snag this for Dax but I love the creativity required! He just got into the Big Nate series so I think his comic interest is piqued!
11. Handmade Bow and Arrow Set $34.97. Dax's specific set is no longer sold but he loves it so I had to include it. Perfect for the little adventurer in your life! Also loved this one- super fun that it comes with cans!

While I had some ideas of what your pre-teen (or tween? do we still say tween?) would like, Genevieve (12 years old in a week) and Nadia (10) happily contributed. And I love the list of fun gifts for pre-teen girls we came up with! I'd say age range for this guide is 9 to 13. Most of it is on its way to us or in my cart!
1. Squishmallows 16" sushi roll. $66.95. When Genevieve opened several of these at her birthday party, I realized it's a thing. I'm not big on stuffed animals but they're so soft and snuggly and I really think they help the girls sleep! I also love this lower priced but equally cute Squishmallow!
2. Air Force 1 Pixel Sneaker. $100. In the cutest blush color. I'm not gonna lie- I've been waiting for my 12 y/o to like shoes enough to request them as a gift. I'll happily splurge on these cuties!
3. Custom Heishi Beaded Bracelets. $10 ea. I love playful jewelry- add pretty colors and customization and I'm sold. Would make a cute stocking stuffer too!
4. Philosophy Amazing Grace Perfume. $24. I don't know what happens between 10 and 11 but starting last Christmas, my girl was very into perfume. This one smells so pretty!
5. Shark Watch. $65. This is on its way to us (shhh!) as it was on Genevieve's birthday list. She doesn't have a smart watch and her phone only calls and texts (it's this one if you're curious) so she doesn't always carry it. This watch is needed and so cute!
6. Sticker Pack. $11. Maybe more of a stocking stuffer but these are so cute, I had to include them. The shop also sells faith based stickers (I grabbed this one) which I love!
7. Stylus Pen. $28. An apple pen is on her wish list but mama ain't ready for that type of $ on something so easily lost. This one should tide her over. ;)
8. Beauty Organizer. $59 (on sale!). A place for her baubles that's neat and pretty is more like a gift for us, is it not?
9. Have a Good Day Sweatshirt. $35. It's aesthetic (what the kids say instead of 'cute' apparently) and it's trending.
10. DIY Custom Candle Kit. $16. The girls have used a few of these kits and always enjoy them. I love that they're creative and consumable. ;) I also love these Project MC2 kits!
11. Orbeez Hand Spa. $19.99. These are probably the last years they'll be into tactile play! Let's embrace it.
12. Dork Diaries. $119. This set includes books 1-10. It's a series my oldest has really enjoyed. She also loves this series!
